Gingerbread people/Имбирные человечки

Merry Christmas everyone!!! And it's not a real Christmas without gingerbread cookies. Especially if they are not gingerbread people. Enjoy your day and pleasant smell of honey and spices.

Ingredients:
75 g of brown sugar
2 tbsp golden syrup
1 tbsp dark syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
A whisper ground cloves
85 gr butter
1 / 2 teaspoon baking soda
225gr plain flour

Glaze:
1 egg white
1 cup powdered sugar

  • Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Place the sugar, both syrups, 1 tbsp water, spices in a large saucepan. Then bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Then remove from heat and add butter, cut into pieces, and baking soda. Then add the flour gradually until a soft dough - add more flour, if you think its not enough. Then leave the dough - covered with a film - in a cool place so that it hardened, for about 30 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 3 mm. Cut the ginger people with molds.
  • Arrange the cookies on oiled baking sheets and bake for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes and pass on to the bars.
  • While cookies cool, whisk sugar and egg white. Decorate cooled cookies with glaze.
