Sugar Bears/Сахарные мишки

Birthday. Amazing time. I decided to make some cookies for my dear friend Kate. But I think it's too borring to make them usually. So I made them in a shape of lovely teddy bears and "coloured" with glaze and candies.

Dough:
2.5 cups of flour
3 / 4 teaspoon salt
300 gr. butter
3 / 4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Glaze:
1 egg white
1 cup powdered sugar
decoration for baking

  • Beat the softened butter with sugar.
  • Mix flour with salt.
  • Add an egg and vanilla into the sugar-butter mixture. Whisk until smooth.
  • Gradually add flour in a mixer, knead the dough.
  • Divide dough into 2 pieces and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Allow dough to cool for 2 hours in refrigerator.
  • The dough thinly rolled on floured board. Also pour flour on the dough.
  • Cut the dough with cookie moulds.
  • Bake at 180 ° C until they are golden.
  • While cookies cool, whisk sugar and egg white. You may color the glaze with food color.
  • Decorate cooled cookies with glaze and small candies.
