Biscotti/Бискотти

These are one of my favourite cookies with nuts. I've just tasted them once and fallen in love with them. They are not too easy to make, but still it is worth it. Believe me, Biscotti won't stay for long, cause you'll probably eat them for 30 minutes right after they are ready.
Ingredients:
180 gr. any kind of nuts (I used hazelnuts,cashew and walnuts)
250 gr. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
180 gr. sugar
1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
30 gr. butter
2 eggs

  • Mix flour and baking soda, make the groove in the midle. 
  • Put sugar, vanilla, salt, butter, aggs and nuts. Knead the dough.
  • Divide into 6 parts and form rollers 25 cm lenght.
  • Wrap rollers in foil and put into the fridge for an hour.
  • Preheat oven to 200°C. 
  • Put rollers on baking sheet covered with baking paper at 8 cm from each other.
  • Bake for 15 min., let them cool. 
  • Cut diagonally into circles 1 cm. in width
  • Put the cut side on the baking sheet and bake for another 10 min.
  • Let them cool
